Expert Gameplay/Technical Animator

We're looking for Expert Gameplay/Technical Animator.

Your responsibilities:

• designing and implementing character movement system, combat and various actions into a game in collaboration with Gameplay Programmers and Game Designers,
• working closely with Engine team to develop animation systems/pipelines/tools,
• working with Lead Artist and Lead Animator to ensure consistent animation vision,
• skinning and rigging of characters/assisting character artists with skinning and rigging,
• troubleshooting technical problems.

Requirements:

• at least 3 years of experience on similar position,
• professional experience in game development industry,
• excellent knowledge of technical side of the animation in game development,
• good knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder,
• good knowledge of animations principles, dynamics and character anatomy,
• experience in animation of bipedal and quadruped characters,
• experience in physics simulation on cloth, hair and other physics items,
• knowledge of engines as Unity, Unreal Engine etc.

Nice to have:

• experience in facial animations and lip-syncing,
• experience in working on projects with stylised animations,
• working on AAA games,
• working on custom game engines.
