Fuero Games is a game studio established in 2012 and specializes in cross-platform (web & mobile) games, and PC games developed on both Unity and Unreal Engine 4. We developed games based on our IP, but mostly we are known for our “work-for-hire” successes. We’ve cooperated with many AA-AAA worldwide studios, helping to deliver the best game possible, such as Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior 3, Space Punks), CD Projekt RED (The Witcher: Battle Arena), Singularity (TBA), Fractured Labs (TBA) or Meta (former Facebook).

[Mid/Senior] Unreal Engine Developer (C++)

salary range: 10-25k PLN net/month (or net-net on B2B)
contract: B2B, CoE, Commission Work, Contract of Services (depends on your work permission)
workplace: 100% remote or Warsaw (Poland)
platform: PC
engine: Unreal Engine 4, later Unreal Engine 5
genre: AA-AAA; multiplayer, third-person shooter, open world (depends on the project)

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • implementing new game elements in the Unreal Engine (70% C ++ / 30% Blueprint),
  • development, but also maintenance, and optimization of the existing game code (version upgrade, merge, modification to the new SDK),
  • product support and bugfixes,
  • analytical, and problem-solving approach.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • min. 5 years of experience as a C ++ programmer using Unreal Engine 4 in game dev,
  • very good knowledge of graphic programming, gameplay, UI or environment,
  • a very good command of the Polish language, which allows fluent communication, and technical documentation reading,
  • a very good command of the English language, which allows fluent communication, and technical documentation reading,
  • knowledge of broadly understood good practices in the field of object-oriented programming (OOP) and code optimization,
  • practical knowledge of the version management system, eg. Perforce, UGS, Git.
  • Polish residency or Polish work permission.

Nice to have:

  • experience with C ++ based graphics engines,
  • knowledge of optimization techniques and implementation of various lighting systems (Global Illumination, Raytracing, Pathtracing),
  • proven work on at least one published title.

  • salary range: from PLN 10,000 to PLN 25,000 net per month (depending on the experience),

What happens with your application?

  2. We will have a little soft chit-chat with you (30-45 min)
  3. You will receive a task via e-mail (up to 7 days for you to make it)
  4. We analyze your task (1-3 days)
  5. Time for a final, technical conversation! (30-45 min)
  6. Feedback and final decision (up to 2 weeks, but mostly we are faster than that ;) )
