Job Description Summary
The Technical Writer for People Culture is responsible for documenting and creating a library of all people and culture processes that shall enable the Service Delivery to configure and set up the Service Operations team by leveraging documentation tools like Visio, MS-Word, Signavio etc. The Technical writer develops high quality written documentation and process maps that contribute to the overall success of Project Scale.
The technical writer engages with the process experts through discovery meetings understanding the objectives of the process, steps for successful execution, decision points, hand-offs between stakeholders to document a trackable and auditable process adhering to the defined standards of documentation.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and medium to expert level proficiency in MS Word and Visio and a good understanding of human resource processes.
Job description
Participate in the discovery meetings to understand the “as-is” state for each human resource process.
Research, write, and edit a variety of processes, including user and knowledge guides in standard documentation templates.
Map processes leveraging Visio clearly documenting decision points and hand-offs between stakeholders in the processes.
Ensure timely delivery of processes within the agile methodology.
Ensure the final processes are user friendly and conform to quality and documentation standards.
Knowledge manages and maintains processes through version controls, naming conventions.
Ensures a consistent approach while documenting processes, creates knowledge guides and supports the training of the service operations team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience
Ability to effectively communicate verbally across all levels.
Excellent written skills
Prior process documentation experience either for a HR contact center/ shared service or operations is a big plus
Passion for excellent customer service, adaptability, flexibility, and ability to multi-task.
Experience understanding/capturing process maps using BPMN 2.0 within process modelling tools e.g. Signavio, Visio, ARIS, BIC.
Understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) concepts would be highly regarded
