Senior Engine Programmer (Frostpunk 2)

Your responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining new low-level systems and overall architecture,
• Monitoring, maintaining and optimizing the performance of the game for all platforms,
• Working closely with the development teams to assess the needs for engine features,
• Implementing platform-specific features and systems.

Requirements:

• Possibility to work in hybrid mode in our Warsaw office,
• At least 4 years of professional experience in game development,
• Strong practical knowledge and commercial experience of C++,
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine,
• Experience with core systems, such as asset management, user interface, tools, audio, memory management, etc.
• Performance & memory optimization skills,
• Solid understanding of multithreading,
• Good communication skills,
• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Willingness to learn/knowledge of/experience with build systems and automatization
• B.Sc. degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent,
• Experience with PlayStation or Xbox game development.
