Salary: 15 000 PLN+ Gross

Movie Games S.A. is seeking a new Technical Coordinator to join newly formed post-release efforts for the flagship product Drug Dealer Simulator 2. You will be the centerpiece controlling multiple teams working on DLC and spin-off projects, assuring streamlined integration while championing the best programming practices. Over time this role will also include cooperation with head of production and game director in deciding the future of the franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with the DLC teams ensuring technologically cohesive workflow
  • Create and maintain version control pipelines in order to solve any solution conflicts and dependencies
  • Archive and solve any tech debt related issues
  • Provide solutions and guidance for programmers in DLC teams
  • Provide tech and code solutions for the selected deliverables
  • Report technological state of the product to key stakeholders
  • Champion best practices in coding and tech architecture

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 3 launched pc/gen8/gen9 commercial titles, with at least one of them involving contributions to the full game creation cycle and at least one where you’ve had a proven contribution to post-release deliverables (ie. patches, dlcs)
  • Excellent understanding of Unreal Engine 4.x and 5.x, including C++
  • Previous experience with version control administration (perforce strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication in at least polish and english
  • Strong fundamentals regarding every technical aspect of creating games in Unreal Engine environment

Great to have:

  • Previous experience in porting games to gen9 consoles, and being up to date with current state of TRC and XBR
  • At least one year of managing a programming team
  • Knowledge of baseline issue tracking practices for a leadership role (ie. setting up pipelines, triaging etc.)
  • Experience in DevOps for a commercial game development project
  • At least basic knowledge regarding key release windows and key events
  • General knowledge about other game engines
