The studio behind the critically acclaimed BLACKTAIL, a first-person, surreal action-adventure game, where the story of Baba Yaga comes to life.

We’re seeking a 3D ANIMATOR to breathe life and emotion into our characters and cutscenes, elevating the visual storytelling in our games.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-quality 3D animations for characters, creatures, and environmental assets
• Develop cinematic cutscenes, working on composition, camera movement, and storytelling through animation
• Collaborate alongside the Lead Animator, Creative Director, and Design Teams to ensure that each animation and cutscene enhances the game’s overall vision and delivers a memorable experience for players
• Optimize animations for real-time performance while maintaining a high-quality visual standard
• Participate in motion capture sessions and polish captured animations

ESSENTIAL

• 2+ years of experience in a similar animation role
• Proven expertise in 3D animation (character rigging, keyframe animation, and mocap integration) using maya/motionbuilder
• Strong knowledge of cutscene creation: composition, pacing, camera cuts, and storytelling
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give and take feedback constructively
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and its animation pipeline
