Senior Game Designer

We are Ovid Works, creators of Interkosmos, Interkosmos 2000 and Metamorphosis. We aim at creating unique, high-quality video games which are not afraid to push boundaries.

We are looking for an experienced Game Designer who will act as a Design Leader on our next project, built in Unreal Engine 5 for the PC and console market. If you are driven, disciplined but also able to think outside the box and break conventions, we’ll be happy to meet you!

Core responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Game Director and Stakeholders to shape a unique vision for the game.
• Leading a small team of designers to deliver set milestones.
• Assessing the timeline of production as well as needed manpower.
• Proposing, designing and prototyping new features
• Iterating and evaluating gameplay mechanics
• Working closely with art and programming teams to improve the overall quality of the game.
• Overseeing design documentation
• Continous improvement of the design processes

Required skills and experience:

• At least 4 years experience in a design position with shipped titles
• Experience in Unreal Engine 4/5
• Creativity accompanied by attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and work with other team members (also in English).
