Marketing Specialist
Position Type: Contract (3 months)
Compensation:
- Monthly: €4,000 - €7,000 (176 work-hours)
- Hourly: €17 - €37
Requirements
Must Haves
- Experience:
- 2+ commercially released indie/AA games (minimum 10,000 sales required)
- Ad Campaigns: Proven ability to set up campaigns (e.g., FB/Insta/Reddit).
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern techniques and Steam marketing.
- Social Media Presence: Active accounts on key platforms.
- Platform Knowledge: Good understanding of TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etc.
- Media Connections: experience or connections in gaming media.
- Design Tools: Competence in Photoshop or similar tools
- Data Proficiency: Strong grasp of statistics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English (Proficient - C1+).
Nice to Haves
- Indie games marketing experience.
- Previous media experience (big plus).
- YouTube/TikTok expertise.
- Additional languages (DE/JP/ZH/KO/ES - C1+ proficiency).
Daily Breakdown
- Marketing Tasks: 80%
- Feedback (Giving & Receiving): 10%
- Meetings: 10%
About the Project
The game, Gold Gold Adventure Gold, is a fantasy city builder-god game hybrid. Set in an original fantasy world, players motivate units instead of directly controlling them. Initial release targets PC, with future plans for tablet/mobile. It’s a traditional pay-to-play model—no NFTs/crypto or others.
The team comprises 14 artists and programmers, fostering a close-knit, indie spirit.
About the Role
We’re seeking a marketing specialist to help us promote our game.
- Commitment: Minimum availability of 2 hours/day.
- Duration: 4-6 months (with potential extension based on sales).
- Flexibility: Part-time acceptable due to the dynamic nature of online marketing and our art pipeline.
- Focus: Specific, actionable strategies with less emphasis on big-brand tactics.
