QA Technician

Creating a great game requires talented people across all departments. That’s why, for our Warsaw office, we’re seeking a skilled and driven QA Technician to help ensure the stability, performance, and quality of our first upcoming game. You’ll play a vital role in debugging, testing, and supporting the team, all with the goal of delivering a top-notch gameplay experience for players around the world.

Responsibilities

• Test gameplay features, systems, and mechanics across multiple platforms.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear and accurate steps.
• Execute test plans and validate gameplay functionality, including edge cases.
• Verify bug fixes and perform thorough regression testing to ensure stability.
• Collaborate closely with developers and designers to support issue resolution.
• Provide feedback on game balance, design, and overall player experience.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 1+ years in QA as a part of an in-house development team.

Core Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to reliably reproduce issues and create clear, concise documentation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or equivalent software.
• Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine or in-house engines), including basic navigation, testing tools, and workflows.
• Understanding of game development pipelines and testing processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience testing on console platforms (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo).
• Knowledge of certification compliance requirements (e.g., TRC, TCR).
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and test case management tools.
• Passion for video games and a strong understanding of player perspectives.
