VFX Supervisor

NOLABEL is looking for a VFX/CG Supervisor who will be responsible for the artistic and technical quality of Visual Effects for Feature Films, TV series or Commercials. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with Producers and Senior Creatives to prepare Breakdown of VFX work
• Supervising artistic and technical progress of overall work
• Working on look development, establishing original looks or following a style direction
• Understand the Director’s vision and prepare a clear brief for the team
• Drive creative concepts with the rest of the team
• Inspire and lead the team to deliver high-quality work
• Maintaining a consistent, project-defined artistic style
• Monitor the progress of each VFX shot in the project, lead meetings with the team
• Supporting Producers in contact with clients regarding technical and creative aspects

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Previous experience as Supervisor
• Knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline and understanding of the production process
• At least 5 years of experience in working with 3D software (3ds Max or Houdini preferred)
• Solid knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
• Portfolio showing excellent skills and creative approach
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques
• Knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline and understanding of the production process
• Great leadership and mentoring skills
• Artistic skills with strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks
• Problem-solving approach and excellent communication skills
• Ability to take direction positively and work well within a team
• Enthusiasm and a creative mind
• Effective time management and prioritization skills according to project schedules
• Proficiency in the English language

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Experience in working on a film set as an on-set Supervisor
• Leading long term projects like TV series or Feature Films
• Experience in Unreal Engine and Virtual Production is an advantage
• Familiarity with project management
• Familiarity with Shotgrid
• Experience in working with freelancers and vendors
