ReSpo.Vision is a cutting-edge sports tech company specializing in AI-driven football data collection, analytics & visualization. Using advanced markerless optical tracking, we capture precise data on player and ball movements during matches. This data allows us to recreate entire games in a 3D environment, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 to deliver immersive visualizations. We are currently working on a football action visualization project in Unreal Engine 5, where we aim to recreate a couple of short (10-15s) real match sequences in two different styles:
1) A realistic football action sequence
2) An exaggerated, stylized version (cartoon-like characters, high-energy effects, etc.)

To achieve this, we’re looking for an Unreal Engine Animation Technician (freelance, immediate start) who can take our pre-processed player motion data and refine it into high-quality animations inside UE5.

Your Role
You will be responsible for:

• Applying and refining pre-generated player motion data inside Unreal Engine 5
• Improving motion fidelity and ensuring smooth, natural animations
• Retargeting animations to stylized characters (we’ll provide or source assets)
• Enhancing visuals with stylized motion effects (for the exaggerated version)
• Delivering a set of short polished sequences for visualization purposes

You will be working within an already prepared Unreal Engine environment, which includes:

• fully built stadium scene.
• basic player textures (kits, faces, etc.).
• all necessary assets to visualize the action (we’ll provide or source cartoon assets or effects) Your focus will be on animation work, not building environments or textures from scratch.

Who You Are

• Experienced in Unreal Engine 5 animation workflows - you know how to refine and enhance character animations.
• Strong in motion retargeting and animation editing - you can work with raw motion data and make it fluid.
• Creative and adaptable - you can adjust workflows and techniques based on the available data.
• Bonus: Experience with stylized animation & effects - if you’ve worked on exaggerated or cartoon-like animations, that’s a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience working with sports animations (football/soccer preferred).
• Familiarity with stylized motion effects & rendering techniques.
• Understanding of procedural animation techniques (e.g., Motion Matching, Pose Warping).
