  • Camera Work & Sequencing:
    • Use Unreal Engine’s Sequencer to set up and animate cinematic shots.
    • Implement slow pans, voyeuristic angles, and sudden shifts in perspective to intensify dread.
  • Footage Capture & Editing:

    • Edit footage to emphasize silence, anticipation, and sharp, unsettling reveals.
  • Lighting & Post-Processing:

    • Apply subtle distortion, chromatic aberration, and atmospheric sound cues to heighten psychological unease.
  • Ensure Alignment with Art, Gameplay & Lore:
    • Verify that all cinematics align with the game’s core horror vision and reinforce its narrative themes.
    • Work with narrative and game designers to ensure that horror sequences feel authentic and immersive.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Art Teams:
    • Work closely with marketing and creative leads to ensure horror trailers capture the game’s unique selling points.
    • Iterate based on feedback while preserving artistic integrity and the game’s unsettling tone.
