Duties:
- Designing, prototyping, integrating and documenting game mechanics, systems and development tools in a FPP/TPP game developed in Unreal Engine 5
- Work within the framework set by the Game Director
- Close daily cooperation with the Lead Gameplay Designer
- Expanding, analyzing and balancing existing gameplay systems
- Proposing original solutions that fit into the vision of the game
- Active cooperation with other teams
Must - haves:
- Extensive experience with Unreal Engine 5 and visual scripting (Blueprints)
- 3+ years of experience in GameDev as a tech/game/gameplay designer
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of multiplayer game mechanics and limitations
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate feedback and make necessary game adjustments
- Ability to quickly prototype, test, and iterate on design concepts
- Decent understanding of level design principles, including player flow, pacing, and challenge design
- Highly motivated and pushing towards self-improvement
- Ability to diagnose, communicate and solve technical issues
- High independence and ability to work within deadlines
- Highly developed communication skills and proactive, positive attitude
- Good knowledge of the English language for team communication B1/B2
Nice To Have:
- Experience in developing multiplayer games
- Basic knowledge of C++ and understanding programming patterns
- One or more commercial games shipped
- Interest in game market trends
- Passionate gamer with experience in multiplayer games, especially FPS, TPS, Battle Royale, extraction shooters, slashers, and MOBAs
