Senior Environment Artist

What we need:
Dare to Dream is seeking a Senior Environment Artist to help us shape the environments of a AAA RPG, where surreal landscapes meet a grounded, low fantasy world. This position has a strong focus on world building and level creation. The ideal candidate must have a solid grasp of modeling, texturing and set dressing skills.

What the role involves:
-Create photo realistic environments from concepts
-Create modular assets using trim sheets
-Basic lighting practical knowledge
-Creatively troubleshooting technical limitations
-Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques and reviews

Role requirements:
-3+ years experience in the game industry as a Senior
-Provide a portfolio of work demonstrating related experience
-High level of proficiency in modelling and level art
-Demonstrate expertise of texturing using both procedurally generated and hand painted techniques in a PBR workflow
-Strong understanding of modularity and the use of trim sheets for optimal level building
-Able to work from photo reference or concept art, as well as ability to interpret design intention when concept is unavailable
-Proven time management skills with the ability to be self-sufficient and execute quickly
