We’re Lobah, an international Gaming company building a studio in Warsaw to shape the future of AA games with a soul!
We’re making a fast-paced, story-rich multiplayer FPS – and we’re looking for a passionate Technical Animator to help bring our dystopian Arabic-inspired world to life. As our Technical Animator, you’ll join a team of experienced game creators here in Warsaw to shape the look, feel and movement of the game’s heroes, weapons, and environments: defining pipelines, working closely with the animation and tech team, and setting a visual benchmark worthy of a world forged in sand and honor.
Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with the Art and Animation departments to flesh out the vision for an ambitious Battle Royale x Hero Shooter with a twist
- Support the animation team in the creation of high-quality gameplay animations
- Solve technical and implementation problems in Unreal Engine
- Ensure consistency in animation direction and deliver assets in a timely manner while meeting the game’s technical and performance requirements
- Work closely with the 3d art, technical art and programming teams to ensure that animations run well across all platforms
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical animator role, with at least one AA/AAA title shipped
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5 (animation blueprints, IK, state machine logic), especially in implementation and problem-solving
- Strong reel demonstrating understanding of core animation principles and human anatomy
- Good familiarity with Maya and Motion Builder
- Proven ability to define and maintain consistent high quality
- Familiarity with content integration processes and cross-disciplinary collaboration (tech art, design etc.)
- Fluency in English; ability to work in an international, fast-moving production environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work at least partially in the Warsaw office
Bonus Points:
- Experience in working on rigging and skinning character models
- Experience in creating animation tools in Motion Builder and Maya (Script Editor)
- Experience in cloth simulation
