The Role:
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who’s passionate about delivering elegant, player-centric experiences that enhance usability, express personality, and elevate the fantasy of our world which is based on AAA large-scale IP.
Location: Remote (Europe) | Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Ensure UX consistency and usability across the game, in close collaboration with the UI Lead, Game Designers, and Art Directors.
- Design and deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UX specifications that are intuitive and enhance player engagement.
- Translate game design requirements and user research into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Develop and maintain a consistent UX framework and design patterns aligned with the game’s setting and IP.
- Partner with UI Artists, engineers, and game designers to ensure seamless implementation and optimized user flows across multiple screen sizes and devices.
- Advocate for user needs through research, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Mentor junior UX designers and elevate the overall UX craft across the studio.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer in games, with at least one shipped title on mobile or cross-platform.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX design, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing in a gaming context.
- Experience working on mid-core or core games—ideally in RPGs, strategy, or collection-based genres.
- Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and player psychology.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- A solid grasp of how to work with Unity or Unreal (or similar engines) and collaborate closely with technical teams.
- Bonus: experience with AAA IPs.
