Robot Gentleman, the independent game developer known for the atomic dark comedy adventures 60 Seconds! and 60 Parsecs! is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Audio Engineer, to join our studio on-site in Poznań, Poland.
You are:
• An open-minded, creative person
• Eager to contribute to unique and weird independent projects
• A dedicated gamer who is interested in the design, technology and cultural significance of games
• A professional game developer with a passion for indie games
So far you have:
• At least 3 years of experience working as an Audio Engineer on commercial game projects.
• In-depth knowledge of principles and practices of music theory and audio production for game development.
• Extensive knowledge of audio production, including SFX asset creation, mixing, and mastering
Your skills include:
• Strong proficiency in the craft of creative sound design and techniques such as synthesis, field recording and foley.
• Working closely with designers and engineers to ensure music integrates seamlessly with gameplay
• Proficiency with industry-standard audio software, plugins, and tools for sound design such as FMOD or Wwise
• Fluent English (minimum C1) - in speech and writing
It would be an advantage if you:
• Completed a full audio project and successfully released the game.
• Have experience with the Godot engine and sound implementation using the tools provided by the engine
• Contributed audio to games released on multiple platforms (PC and Console).
• Have audio hardware setup experience: installing the tools, instruments, and software needed to establish a working inhouse recording studio.
