I'm the former founder of Turbine, which made MMO games including Lord of the Rings Online, and was bought by Warner Bros. for $160 million.

Now my friends and I are making an AR mobile walking game in Warsaw with a big Hollywood franchise. (It's a secret, but it's one of the big ones, like Harry Potter or Star Wars.) Our advisors include former Lucasfilm COO, Blizzard President, and PlayStation CEO. We do it Mission: Impossible style with insane happy energy!

We are hiring an illustrator to make three illustrations for our new game's character classes. Here are examples from another game that we like.

Top level salary. This is a short-term, one-time contract job but, if it goes well, we'll have other projects for you. We invest in people to be creative and invent the future. We plan to grow 3x in the next year, giving you much more responsibility than other employers to prove yourself and move up!

Responsibilities:

• Design and draw three illustrations, with a realistic look for character classes.
• Collaborate with other artists to fit the game's visual style and technical requirements.

Requirements:

• A leader who "gets" the game's vision and goals, and can lead design, not just follow orders.
• Social, makes friends easily. It's a remote job but most of us are around Warsaw and we have occasional fun team meet-ups.
• Able to work quickly. It's only a mobile game. 1920x1080 will be fine. Don't be perfectionist.
• Disciplined artist who finishes what you start
• Excited by the challenge of inventing a new category of video game
• Portfolio showcasing strong realistic or semi-realistic illustration skill
• Ability to produce different drawing styles according to project needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Can make other types of art such as clothing, concept art, environmental art
• Familiarity with Unity or other mobile game engines.
• Contributions to published mobile game titles.

We prefer B2B contracts but other types are fine. We value diversity, and have hired many immigrants into Poland.
