We are looking for a Co-Development Coordinator to co-create an entirely new team focused on co-developing titles within the Snail Games USA portfolio. The team will be built from the ground up here in Poland, offering you the unique opportunity to help shape the new studio’s direction.
In this role, you’ll collaborate on an exciting variety of projects, including both well-established IPs and new titles. You’ll be able to influence the studio’s growth and culture from day one while working on creative, dynamic projects with passionate teams from other parts of the world.
Job Duties
- Team Coordination: Act as the main liaison between internal and external teams, translating project vision and feedback.
- Project Tracking: Manage schedules, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met across the co-development team.
- Vision Alignment: Work closely with design and art leads to absorb and communicate project vision to junior team members.
- Communication Facilitation: Regularly update external partners on progress, issues, and achievements, and organize team check-ins.
- Mentorship: Support junior team members with guidance, feedback, and task assignment aligned with their skill level.
- Team Evaluation and Quality Standards: Assess team performance to ensure output aligns with project standards and core team expectations.
- Hiring Support: Assist in identifying, interviewing, and onboarding new team members as needed.
Problem Solving: Identify pipeline or workflow issues early and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve them.
Requirements
- Experience in Game Project Coordination: 3+ years in project coordination, ideally in game development.
- English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective communication across teams.
- Strong Communication Skills: Skilled at bridging communication between teams, especially in a co-development setting.
- Organizational Abilities: Proficient in using project management tools like JIRA and comfortable with version control systems.
- Adaptable Mindset: Able to handle shifting priorities and maintain team alignment.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, mentor, and guide junior team members to success.
Bonus Skills & Knowledge
- Experience with Survival Games: Familiarity with Ark, Atlas, or other survival games and their core mechanics.
- Unreal Engine Experience: Proficiency with Unreal Engine, with a preference for experience in UE4 or earlier versions.
- Modkit Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the Ark or Atlas Modkit tools for modding and custom content creation.
