Junior Hard Surface Artist (New Team)

We are looking for a Junior Hard Surface Artist to join an entirely new team based in Poland, focused on co-developing titles within the Snail Games USA portfolio.

In this role, you’ll collaborate on an exciting variety of projects, including both well-established IPs and new titles. You'll have a unique opportunity to be part of the studio’s growth and influence its culture from day one while working on creative, dynamic projects with passionate teams from other parts of the world.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and texturing hard-surface 3D assets for sci-fi environments, vehicles, and props, guided by concept art or references.
• Using industry-standard tools and pipelines to create detailed, game-ready assets.
• Responding to feedback quickly, iterating on designs and technical solutions as needed.
• Estimating task timelines accurately and managing workload to meet milestones.
• Balancing quality with efficiency under tight deadlines.
• Staying updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance visual quality.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a 3D artist on game projects.
• Strong hard-surface modeling skills, including mid-poly techniques, weighted normals, and floaters.
• Proven ability to create optimized geometry with effective bevels and chamfers.
• Portfolio showcasing game-ready hard-surface models for PC or console (wireframes and UV layouts included).
• Proficiency in standard 3D modeling and texturing software.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for learning and improving your craft.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Experience creating materials in Substance Designer.
• Understanding of composition and rendering principles.
