Senior Unreal Engine Developer (Gameplay & Backend)

We’re Atlas XR, a fast-moving startup backed by fresh funding and led by industry experts. We’re building Beyond Sandbox, the most wishlisted VR game on Steam and one of the most anticipated Meta Quest titles of 2025. To support our vision, we need a senior Unreal 5 developer who can write great multiplayer gameplay code & scale multiplayer services, build reliable infrastructure, and keep everything running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-performance gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine 5
• Develop and integrate backend services
• Optimize backend architecture for scalability and low latency

What We’re Looking For

✅ 5+ years of professional experience in game development with Unreal Engine
✅ Strong C++ & Networking knowledge
✅ Experience with Epic Online Services (EOS)
✅ Can optimize backend performance for low-latency multiplayer
✅ Great communication skills and a strong English level
✅ Ability to write extremely clean, well-structured code that fits seamlessly into existing architectures
✅ Ability to problem-solve, debug, and optimize efficiently
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

Bonus Points If You Have

🔥 VR development experience
🔥 Experience with AWS
🔥 Cybersecurity knowledge (cheat prevention, data security)
