3D Generalist

NOLABEL is looking for a talented 3D Generalist who will be responsible for the artistic and technical creation of CGI and VFX for Feature Films, TV series or Commercials. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish original looks and creative concepts or follow a style direction
• Create high-quality CGI, including modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation
• Create and refine shaders, textures, and materials
• Design and customise lighting in scenes to achieve desired visual effects
• Setup renders, validate the quality of the images and prepare layers for the compositing department
• Optimising scenes, working with a render farm and overseeing rendered outputs
• Participate in the development of setups for the different stages of VFX production
• Work with the Creative and Production team to determine the best possible technical and creative approach
• Executing work according to the established brief and within specified timelines
• Understand and implement feedback quickly and effectively according to guidelines
• Ensuring high quality of work, visual consistency, and alignment with project objectives

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 2 years of experience as a 3D Artist (3ds Max and V-Ray preferred)
• Strong knowledge of principles of 3D
• Knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline and understanding of the production process
• Technical skills and the ability to learn new softwares and workflows quickly
• Problem-solving approach
• Ability to take direction positively and work well within a team

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Experience in Houdini or Unreal Engine is a big advantage
• Knowledge of general compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
• Knowledge of Flow software
• English language skills are preferred
