... and now we're looking for a skilled Technical Character Artist to join our team remotely and help create high-quality characters for our upcoming games built in Unreal Engine 5.

Responsibilities:

• Develop realistic characters that fit the artistic direction of the project
• Perform character retopology to ensure models are optimized for animation and real-time performance
• Create and apply textures for characters, maintaining consistency with the project’s visual style
• Collaborate with modelers, animators, and technical artists to prepare characters for integration into Unreal Engine 5
• Ensure assets meet technical requirements for performance and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve character-related issues throughout the pipeline

Required skills:

• Experience in creating characters from initial high-poly sculpt to final in-game asset
• Experience in character modeling and techart workflows
• Strong knowledge of retopology and texturing techniques
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush and Substance Painter
• Understanding of Unreal Engine 5
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver production-ready assets
• Intermediate English

Nice to have:

• Experience with rigging and skinning.
• Knowledge of PBR workflows.
• Familiarity with optimization for real-time rendering.
• Unconditional love for video games :)
