The Marketing Lead will be the single voice and creative engine driving our global presence, transforming groundbreaking technology into engaging stories for gamers worldwide.
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Lead to spearhead the global marketing strategy for ReadyM and our expanding portfolio of game multiplayer integrations. The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with proven experience in game and content marketing, community building, and launching game or game-adjacent products to international audiences.
Main responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive Content Marketing Strategies for the ReadyM platform and individual game integrations (WukongMP, future titles), ensuring alignment with product milestones.
- Own the entire content lifecycle: from concept generation to production (including basic editing/design) of engaging short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), social media posts, and long-form articles.
- Preliminary content localization (Chinese) with assistance of AI / a network of native speakers.
- Manage content calendars and daily posting for all key global and China-specific platforms: YouTube, Discord, Reddit, TikTok, Twitter/X, Bilibili, WeChat, QQ, Heybox/Blackbox.
- Lead long-term messaging around platform growth (new games and markets) and development (new features) to establish ReadyM as a thought leader.
- Develop and execute Influencer and Creator strategies (micro and macro) and run community initiatives (contests, AMAs, platform events) to drive adoption and engagement.
- Manage media relations: Draft and pitch compelling press releases and stories to top-tier gaming media and tech publications for major releases and announcements.
- Develop high-quality marketing materials for B2B partnerships and integrations.
Additional responsibilities
- Closely work with the founders to align on marketing and product strategy
- Assist in tracking key metrics and KPIs across social media, performance marketing, and product
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in the video game industry (game publisher, studio, or gaming platform preferred)
- Proven track record of launching game titles or game-related products to global audiences
- Demonstrated success in growing gaming communities from early stage to scale
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable results
- Strong understanding of gaming culture, modding communities, and multiplayer ecosystems
- Experience with social media management platforms and scheduling tools
- Familiarity with performance marketing platforms (Meta/Google Ads, TikTok Ads)
- Demonstrable skills in video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma) or proven experience managing external creative resources.
- Experience creating content for both Western and Asian gaming audiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
