I'm the former founder of Turbine, which made MMO games including Lord of the Rings Online, and was bought by Warner Bros. for $160 million.

Now my friends and I are making an AR mobile walking game in Warsaw with a big Hollywood franchise. (It's a secret, but it's one of the big ones, like Harry Potter or Star Wars.) Our advisors include former Lucasfilm COO, Blizzard President, and PlayStation CEO.

We are launching a game in June and need a marketer. We do it Mission: Impossible style with insane happy energy!

Top level salary. You can work from home, remotely, and if you live near Warsaw our team is based there so that we can occasionally meet. We have a budget for joint trips to tourist attractions, escape rooms and other games, dinners, all paid by the company. Unlike other companies that are mismanaged and constantly in "crunch time", we have a smooth, no drama operation where everyone is excited to make a new category of video game.

You could be part-time or full-time. Full-timers get 26 paid vacation days a year. We invest in people to be creative and invent the future. We plan to grow 3x in the next year, giving you much more responsibility than other employers to prove yourself and move up!

Responsibilities:

• Creating written, image, and video media with the help of our art staff and writers
• Research and reach out to influencers and press.
• Social media posts and community engagement.
• Growth strategy for our social media channels
• Run paid marketing campaigns with A/B testing
• Host and moderate fan forum
• Possibly attend occasional fan conferences

Requirements:

• A leader who "gets" the game's vision and goals, and can lead design, not just follow orders.
• Social, makes friends easily. It's a remote job but most of us are around Warsaw and we have occasional fun team meet-ups.
• Disciplined marketer who is both organized and creative
• Excited by the challenge of inventing a new category of video game
• Portfolio showcasing strong marketing work and campaign materials
• Minimum 3 years of experience marketing for mobile games
• Expert in what makes good video, image, and written content grab people.

Bonus Skills:

• Able to write or create images or edit videos yourself
• Existing relationships with video game influencers
• Contributions to published mobile games.

We prefer B2B contracts but other types are fine. We value diversity, and have hired many immigrants into Poland.
